#LateNightThoughts What we're doing at @enjin is a piece of a puzzle. A puzzle that's, quite literally, the future of the human race. That future can be a grim, dark one, where power resides in the hands of the few - or an amazing, bright one, where power is decentralized. ->
-> Here's the funny thing: i'm not sure about the size of our piece of the puzzle, as it's becoming somewhat apparent that the next couple of decades are coming with two key changes: #automation ending jobs - and #gaming creating new ones. ->
-> Which means that a lot (if not most) of value will be created in virtual worlds, and it would be optimal if those are decentralized; a bad ending could be a centralized entity (goverment, corporation or both) seizing and destroying that value. ->
-> and on the other side of the coin, aka in the real world, #blockchain as a technology can make things fair(er), by making sure that owning automation is not a privilege, but a very real possibility for the average Joe. ->
-> Ideally that's something like using open-source blockchain #dapps and 3d printers to build robots at home; or using Satoshi's brainchild to power shared ownership over idk, automated space mining bots. ->
-> And I think that's two key areas where a distributed database will help shape the world: to enable people to own the virtual value they create, and give them a shot at

-> And it's not all black and white. It's likely that we'll have a gradual shift towards a global, yet decentralized civilization. It could take decades or centuries. And the puzzle has thousands or even millions of pieces -> @Enjin.
-> but I'm kinda happy, and honestly, super-proud that we're doing our very best trying to build once such piece at @Enjin.
