This special midweek episode of #DavesCarIDService is brought to you by Boredom. 1954 Ford, with its wildly optimistic 120 mph speedometer
Body seems 1937 Plymouth 5 window, but appears to be running a Chevy Stovebolt straight 6, and "wide-5" wheels and chassis are definitely 1936-39 Ford
1978-ish, post-Studebaker, Chevy-powered Avanti II, with the uglyass federally dictated 5 mph bumpers mercifully removed
That there is a ginormous fleet of 1930-33 Duesenbergs, worth a cubic shit-ton of cash
Gotta be later than 1971, that's at least a '73-'74 Volvo and '74 Olds Cutlass near the Krystal sign
1959 Ford Galaxie 500 Skyliner, in front of a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302
L-R:
Row 1: 64 Chevy, 63 Ford Galaxie, 61-62 Pontiac Tempest
Row 2: 55 Pontiac, 59 Chevy, 52-4 Packard
Row 3: 64 Corvette, 58 Ford station wagon
Row 4: 51 Ford
Circa 1916 Pierce-Arrow touring. Pierce-Arrow was first car to mold headlights into fenders
Foreground is 1955-ish Studebaker Transtar truck; then a late 37-ish Chevy or GMC; then a late 30s GMC dump truck
You've stumped me on this one. All I can tell you it's a 1912-17 ish obscure make, the rectangular doors that go all the way to running board apron are highly unusual. Maybe someone at AACA can help you with definitive ID
Being a landlubber I'm not gonna venture a guess on the boat, but pretty sure tow car is a Ford Model A roadster with the trunk/rumble seat converted into a pickup bed
During WW2 gas rationing, a lot of older cars were given a pickup bed conversion b/c that meant a better gas rationing stamp. When I found my Model A it had undergone a pickup conversion
Another pic of it before removing the pickup lumber
1951-4 Muntz Jet, the luxury car venture of Chicago appliance dealer "Mad Man" Muntz. Featured cartoon crazy Napoleons on the hubcaps and horn button
That's it for #DavesCarIDService today, include the hashtag if have a heap in need of ID, and I will eventually get to it
