1. Pathetic Impeachment Inquiry: Vindman Edition

Vindman testified for 10 fricking hours. And here's the gist of it.

Vindman told investigators he tried to change the White House’s rough transcript of the call by filling in at least one of the omitted words, “Burisma.”
2. And lawmakers said his failed effort to edit the call transcript did not significantly change their understanding of what transpired during Trump’s call that sparked the impeachment inquiry.
3. Ah, the theatrics!

"Vindman’s arrival in military blue, with medals, created a striking image at the Capitol as the impeachment inquiry reached deeper into the White House. He testified for more than 10 hours."
4. "Vindman, a 20-year military officer, added to the mounting evidence from other witnesses — diplomats, defense and former administration officials — who are corroborating the initial whistleblower’s complaint against Trump."

Added to the evidence! What did he and others add?
5. “Every person has put it in higher resolution,” said Rep. Denny Heck, D-Wash., during a break in the daylong session.

Ah! Higher resolution. That's what they added. And this according to a Democrat.

Wait! There's more.
6. “That’s the story: There’s not like a new headline out of all of these,” said Rep. Tom Malinowski, D-N.J. “Every single witness, from their own vantage point, has corroborated the central facts of the story we’ve heard.”

Ah! Corroboration from different vantage points.
7. And what did they corroborate? The call transcript that the President released weeks ago.

So an entire parade of witnesses testifying for endless hours in a secret facility has now fully and totally corroborated that the call transcript is complete and accurate.
8. Here's the dog that didn't bark. If anyone had said anything that contradicted the call transcript or added anything substantial to it, don't you think that would be the headline story in every news outlet in the country? Sure it would, and rightly so.
9. So now we have the spectacle of the media and the Democrats trying desperately to make the absence of any story a story in itself, to impress upon us heathens that there is a story in so many witnesses providing 'higher resolution' and different 'vantage point' views. WTF!!!
10. Here's the link to the illustrious reporting on this moronic crusade to overturn the results of an election whose outcome these high-minded Democratic neanderthals didn't like.

The End.

More on LTC Vindman. Democrats in Congress surely are picking their witnesses through a very finely calibrated partisan lens.
TDS is far more pernicious than previously thought.

Not only has it completely destroyed media credibility, it has discredited the top echelons of our intel agencies, some in the DoJ, and most unfortunately, it now seems it has tainted some in the top brass of our military too.
Yesterday I expressed my concern for TDS afflicting the upper echelons of our intel agencies and, even more tragically, our military. See tweet above. Today I read a Victor Davis Hanson's column expressing the same concern. This trend is ominous for the health of the nation.
