1-Just heard John Hickenlooper make remarks to the effect that the Dem party "needs dreamers waving their arms, but they don't seem to get much done" To that I say, the Dem Freshman Congress have been in office for under 3 mos.
2-Making noise and mistakes is a rite of passage for new legislators. We need to give them a little space, a little time & to remember that they're on a learning curve that most of us would run from.
3-Some of the issues that have arisen are potentially pretty serious in nature, but things will settle down, level off.. So let's take a step back and give them a minute. It's a hard job and we really don't need to be infighting. #BlueWave2020 #SaturdayThoughts

Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown has announced that he will not be running for President in 2020. After Bloomberg's same announcement, this makes me all but absolutely certain that Joe Biden is going to run. #BlueWave2020 #ThursdayMotivation politico.com/story/2019/03/…

At the VERY least, this time Sanders needs to CAREFULLY explain what his policy will be in re his free college for all etc... etc... we're in a VERY different place than we were in 16, we have a HUGE deficit & mess that must start to be rectified, I still don't hear that from him
Will we? I don't know... I hope that his supporters will this time require more of a plan from him for his ideations, rather than just let him say 'we'll work out the details later'. We're a nation of traumatized people now, and what @ his Foreign Policy? Do our allies trust him?

1-In re Howard Schultz's potential run for 2020, Trump has destroyed the notion that a non-politician is the person to 'fix' this country-for now. We have too much of a mess to clean up after the Trump debacle, & as the result I think that we need someone with experience.

🌊🗳️Overview of the Democratic positions after the 2018 Blue Wave Elections. Heading into the 2018 Election, the Senate had a Republican majority. There were 51 Republicans plus the Vice President, 47 Democrats and 2 Independents that caucus with the Democrats so basically 51-49.
🔷As of January 3, 2019, The Republicans now have 52 seats plus the Vice President. and the Democrats have 45 seats and 2 independents who caucus with the Democrats.

🏛️51 required for majority
🏛️60 required for 3/5
🏛️67 required for 2/3

👁️BEFORE VS. AFTER
*⃣There was one vacancy, but the Republican Arizona Governor appointed fellow Republican Martha McSally, who took office on January 3, 2019. So the Senate is basically 53-47, in favor of the GOP.
