Hi @UN - great to see some advice on food-related climate action, but the best 2 rules of thumb to reduce diet-related emissions (in high-income countries) are minimizing food waste and eating a plant-rich diet: wri.org/blog/2017/10/t…. 1/

@UN And now, for the usual caveats:

1) Local & organic can be great for other reasons - not everything is about climate;
2) Need to reduce emissions from fossil fuels AND food/land to stay w/in 1.5C;
3) Individual climate actions are terrific but must complement system-wide changes.
