This interview is getting worse and worse and worse. I suspect he will be replaced by empty chairs in future.
That was awesome. Brokenshire wasn't allowed to deflect onto Brexit but was grilled on all the Tory scandals, and came unstuck.

Of course, what happened was the different Leave factions found the plan too constrictive, because it stood in their way of being able to promise all things to all people. Dominic Cummings even lauded the lack of plans as a Leave strength in a blog post before the referendum.

All the candidates being caught out by outrageous social media comments and having to bow out of the election are embarrassing to their parties... But it will be much more embarrassing after 14 November when the candidate lists are locked and they can't withdraw any more.
So it's worth redoubling the effort to uncover this sort of thing once it's too late for them to be subbed out. That albatross can then be hung around their neck and that of their party for the remaining 4 weeks of the campaign.
It would not surprise me if the campaigns are sitting quietly on some of the more egregious examples, hoping and praying the media won't unearth them until after the 14 November deadline. They can then unleash the dirt to maximum effect.

As the work on building Amravati, the new capital city AP, comes to a grinding halt, concerns emerge about Amravati (APCRDA) bonds held by Franklin MF (~Rs. 1000 Cr) and Birla MF (Rs. ~300 Cr). Thread 1/11
During the Chandrababu Govt, Amravati received political as well as financial patronage. Now, with Jagan Reddy being incharge of the state, the project is in shambles. World Bank & ADB pulled out of the project and the Government is looking for reasons to scrap it. 2/n
The bonds issued to support the financing needs of the project were subscribed by Franklin MF and Birla MF. The bonds are guaranteed by the AP Govt but it's not sure if the Govt would keep servicing the bonds. The risk of lending to a state govt has again come to the fore. 3/11

1. The West had an opportunity to bring Russia in to the family of European nations after the fall of the USSR in 1991. A number of bad decisions precluded that from happening.
2. The National Security Archive George Washington University provides a valuable service by publishing the results of FOIA requests for public review.
3. From one of those FOIA requests, it was learned that Russian President Boris Yeltsin was led to believe that NATO’s Partnership for Peace Program (PfP) was an alternative to NATO, and that Russia would be included in future new European security structures.

Remember WHO it is that's been investigating the DOJ/FBI since January and who is now slow rolling *some* of the evidence out in advance of his soon-to-be-released report to prepare the public for it's explosive revelations:

This isn't Judicial Watch or members of Congress doing their own investigations that uncovered the #FusionGPS/FBI/DOJ nexus of corruption.

It's this DOJ Inspector General who's been QUIETLY doing his work in the background since January while EVERYBODY focused on Mueller.
Strzok, Page, the Ohrs, Hillary's campaign funding the Trump dossier thru #FusionGPS & trying to hide it by running the $ through a law firm?

The DOJ IG is the guy who uncovered all of this.
