And it relies heavily on his claims against his former colleagues, despite fact some claims already debunked. And investigation by trustees affirmed his firing (a fact not mentioned in article). 2/

There are many, many alumni who disagree with Bass & support profs he's attacked. If you can't find one, you're not paying attention or not trying. 3/

@CharissaKoh @WNGdotorg @SBUniv And that's where article really messes up. It frames whole story as conflict over theology as if that's what got Bass fired. Instead, as documents cited in article outline, he was fired for his alleged unethical & unbiblical actions. 5/
@CharissaKoh @WNGdotorg @SBUniv So, what if this isn't story about danger of liberalism creeping into a school (as article suggests), but instead danger of fundamentalism in tearing apart a school? While conservatives & liberals support free exchange of ideas in higher education, fundamentalists fight it. 6/

Don't be part of the problem by attacking good, conservative professors just because a disgruntled former colleague now makes accusations. Talk to more people & look at deeper issues at stake.
