1. Staying Power 2. Gal. 6:9 - "and let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not". #Persistence
2. We shared last week that you cannot see the fulfilment of God’s promises to you without staying power. #Persistence
3. The conditions for harvest are indicated in our text, Gal. 6:9. First, "let us not be weary in well doing"; the well doing is seed sowing (Gal 6:7). Your actions are seeds. Sowing is important. Our world is ruled by the principle of cause and effect. #Persistence
4. Secondly, "in due season"; timing is key. Things happen in the right season. Frustration occurs when you try to make things happen in the wrong season. Remember that growth is seasonal; when it is time, it is time. Do what you have to do in the right season. #Persistence
5. Third, "if we faint not"; persistence. In other words, we must learn to persevere; not to give up, lose hope and courage. Perseverance is the persistence in doing something despite the difficulty. We must develop this quality if we want to achieve success. #Persistence
6. Water cuts through rock, not because of its strength but because of consistency and persistence. People that are successful will tell you that they create their own ‘luck’ sometimes by not giving up. #Persistence
7. I say that a little talent with great perseverance will achieve more than great talent with little perseverance. Keep striking until you get to the tipping point (2Kings 13:14-19). #Persistence
8. How do you cultivate persistence? #Persistence
9. Ensure that you are pursuing God’s goals. That way you will be assured of God’s help. Psalm 23:1 #Persistence
10. There is no point in being stubborn when you have realised you are on the wrong road. Accept that you don’t have total control over all the factors that affect your life. #Persistence
11. Control your attitude, thoughts and emotions with the help of the Holy Spirit. (Rom 12:2, Phil. 4:6-7). Attitude is not a gift but a choice (Is. 61:3). Every part of a Christian’s life is warfare and God has given us victory (James 1:1-4 NLT). #Persistence
12. Whatever you do, keep moving forward. #Persistence
13. Martin Luther King said, “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward”. #Persistence
14. In Jesus’ name, I prophesy courage, restoration of visions and dreams. Receive fresh ideas; every obstacle is removed whether physical or spiritual. We declare total victory in Jesus’ name. #Persistence
