MORRISON says he didn't believe there was any sort of quid pro quo for military aide UNTIL he talked to Sondland on Sept. 1.

But even then he said he hoped it was just Sondland's idea, not anyone else's.
MORRISON says Sondland told him on Sept. 1 that he informed Ukrainians that they'd have better luck releasing the military aid if they opened the investigation inro Burisma (code for Biden).
NEW: MORRISON told investigators that Sondland claime dto be acting on Trump's orders when handling Ukraine.

And every time Morrison checked out whether Sondland had actually had a call with Trump as he claimed, it was true.

Per the Times, the IG report also indicates that MIFSUD is *not* an FBI informant and no evidence from CIA or Steele Dossier were used to open Russia probe -- a claim Trump and allies have made for years. nytimes.com/2019/11/22/us/…

IMPORTANT: U.S. intel agencies recently warned senators that the suggestion Ukraine interfered in the 2016 election is really a Russian operation to muddy questions about what Moscow did.

In particular, Russia seized on actual occurences -- some scattershot efforts by embassy officials and lawmakers to criticize Trump or Manafort -- and mixed them with conspiracy theories about a government-wide plot.

The suggestion that we were engaged in some sort of “irregular or rogue diplomacy is absolutely false,” says Sondland, who said that top officials at the State Department and National Security Council were deeply engaged in the policy.

Surprise!

Sondland has amended his testimony to acknowledge that Ukraine's military aid was contingent upon announcing an inquiry into Hunter Biden and Burisma. I guess his lawyers explained that he was on the same path to prison that Michael Cohen took by lying to Congress.

A bunch of fired, bitter, losers mad that Giuliani was investigating Biden's corruption. A bunch of leaks to the New York Times. A fake hoax and a witch hunt. Everyone acting like it's illegal to investigate corruption lol. This Ukraine garbage is so boring.
The first sentence in the article is literally a lie, and it doesn't matter how many times it's repeated it will never be true. Asking Ukraine to investigate corruption isn't "pressuring Ukraine for political help" and no one is buying this bs.
And would you look at that, the sources can't even agree on whether or not Bolton was mad at Sondland too, but the New York Times is attacking him just like WAPO attacked him on Saturday. They're clearly trying to make him sound like a bad guy before he testifies, I wonder why.
