Hi Everyone, we are still evaluating the details of the mentorship, but the following are our plans and thinking so far:

We will take in 500 mentees across Mobile, Web, UI/UX and Data Science. We will also be seeking for 15 persons who will volunteer to help us coordinate the program. The program will take place over slack with the occasional video calls on zoom.

The program will be divided into three levels: beginner, junior and mid/intermediate. Primary Languages that we will focus on will include:

1. JavaScript
2. Android/Java
3. Python
4. PHP

3/n

For beginners, they will start with HTML/CSS and we will mentor them for one whole year. For junior developers, we will mentor them for nine months while the mid-level developers will be with us for 6 months.

The aim is to take them from where they are currently to where they can easily get jobs. We are currently thinking that everyone will have an opportunity to contribute to a project monthly.

We will be dividing everyone into groups, and every three months the groups will present a full-stack product as part of the capstone products.

b. Cover letter review
c. Portfolio Design and Review
d. Job search guide
e. Interviewing Guide
f. Mock Interviewing
g. Meet up
h. Soft skills

For those that we are adjudged ready, we will also be liaising with other great minds in the ecosystem to help them practice interviews skills.

Lastly, we will also be recording tutorials and lessons weekly for our youtube channel
