Look at the text of 18 USC 201(b)(2). The conduct Trump is alleged to have committed fits into this definition of bribery (whether or not it is also extortion, other crime or other abuse of power that is not a crime) /1
If alleged facts are true: Trump is a (1) public official who (2) corruptly (3) demanded a thing of value (announcement of an investigation, dirt on Biden) (4) in return for being influenced in performance of official act (sending aid to Ukraine, and possibly a meeting).
The crime of bribery is done with the demand (there is no need to prove that the bribe was accepted).
So the crime of bribery is met whether or not extortion, campaign finance crimes, or other abuses of power proven for impeachment purposes. 3/3
