— the hearings have been challenging though. They’ve reinforced the trench warfare nature of this issue. And some of the most impactful moment — schiff last night — have been buried.
— SONDLAND is very key today — understatement of the year. Rs will try to position him as a rogue actor who would do anything to impress trump -but wasn’t hearing from the president directly. We’ll see if that line is even feasible
— Dems will, of course, position sondland as an agent who was tasked with carrying out a “shadow” foreign policy, where the president was looking to strong arm a nation into investigating his rival.
