There’s this from the great wsj team of @rebeccaballhaus @MichaelCBender and @vmsalama about the president pulling the ambassador to Ukraine.

Then there’s this from @kenvogel and @nytmike — drafting a statement to commit to this investigation that the president wanted.

Rounding it out, @JoshNBCNews on how the American government held out the Ukraine investigation as a must do for a presidential visit.

And now, Ukraine is diving in.

SCALISE will begin a series of briefings on how to handle impeachment for the gop. House and senate Rs are standing by trump, forcefully defending him and so far have not allowed much daylight.
