2. I love Harris, and it is true that I hope to get to vote for her next November. I happen to think she has the experience necessary (while NOT also displaying an old school mentality, like @JoeBiden has shown).

But, none of this means my mind cannot be changed.

3. I also like @ewarren, @CoryBooker, and @PeteButtigieg

Even @BernieSanders is growing on me. A year ago, I did not think that was possible.

4. The one thing I am 100% tired of hearing?

That ONLY @JoeBiden can defeat Trump. What nonsense.

5. Politicians do NOT defeat other politicians.

WE do that. Voters. Without us, no win or loss is possible. Don't believe me? Look at the results of our last midterm.

6. This morning, @Morning_Joe seemed to be the next set of voices pushing that narrative: that ONLY @JoeBiden can stand toe-to-toe with Trump.

7. I am not saying they (or anyone else) is pushing that narrative to purposely elicit fear in democratic voters.

I AM saying that, purposeful or not, it definitely has that effect. And I am saying it is a dangerously stupid narrative to push.

8. Will I vote for @JoeBiden if he ends up being our nominee? Of course I will. And, so should you.

But that doesn't mean he is best suited for our needs. It only means that my #1 priority is defeating Trump. Period.

9. Which circles back to my main point:

It will not take any certain candidate to defeat Trump in 2020. It will take US. Voters. Just us. We just have to SHOW UP.

10. So, if you are out there thinking: "Warren's health plan is too aggressive/not practical," or "Bernie's followers/fans are too obnoxious," or "Pete isn't sensitive enough to people of color" . . . or, like me, "Biden is too old school" . . .

11. That's great that you have opinions. I have mine too.

We all want to change and to heal things. Tackle climate change, repair our alliances, fix the immigration issues that Trump has bungled, and on, and on, and on . . .

12. But, here's my question for all of you: how are we ever going to do all that if we do not first win -- not just the presidency -- but the Senate too?

13. In other words: forgive me if I change my mind about @KamalaHarris later.

Forgive me if I change my mind a dozen times between now and the primary.

14. Be assured that one thing will never change (as long as I am still drawing breath):

I WILL #VoteBlueToSaveAmerica in 2020.

No matter who is the nominee. And I will vote blue in every. single. category. Will you pledge the same?
