A source familiar with the White House legal team says they are not convinced that the House of Representatives will ultimately vote to impeach the president (in addition to believing that it shouldn’t, and that impeachment is not in the interest of the American people).
ALSO: source says they would like to Participate in the House Judiciary Committee process, and they would like the president to be represented and be able to call witnesses — but they have serious doubts they will be able to;
AND: the source says they believe there are significant reasons why the Senate should dismiss out of hand any impeachment articles — both on the process and the merits.
