hitherto ignored Grassley letter contains fascinating, perhaps, even explosive details which were redacted from Strzok-Page emails. For example, Strzok's Oct 7 message "More ,,,, leaks in the NYT" takes on new meaning as "More BO leaks in the NYT". Wonder who mysterious "BO" is?
2/ on Oct 25, 2016, Strzok was annoyed at the mysterious BO for some "stupid BO DOD thing".
3/ later on Oct 25, Strzok was cranky about "bad choices about BO".
4/ there is, of course, someone with initials BO who is well-known, but they usually call him POTUS, so I'd be inclined to look first for some other person with initials BO - at least for elimination.
5/ Bruce Ohr is plausible suggestion. I've lost track of what Strzok-Page and Ohr have said about their interactions, but worth crosschecking against these texts.
6/ If BO= Bruce Ohr, I wonder what the "BO DOD" thing is. In particular, we know that Halper was funded through DOD Office of Net Assessment. Is it possible that Strzok alluding to that? Redactions definitely concealed important information.
6/ @walkafyre (h/t Nick Weil) says that BO in this context is Baltimore Office.
7/ I've done date-limited google search on "new york times" for Oct 6, 2016 to Oct 7, 2016 google.com/search?q=new+y… . Didnt locate much. Maybe subscriber can search paper itself for BO clue.
8/ to my surprise, Bing had much more information than Google. bing.com/search?q=site%…

9/ arrest of Harold Martin (of Booz Allen) was unsealed on Oct 5, 2016. Indictment filed on Oct 20. cryptome.org/2016/10/martin…. Booz Allen was huge DOD contractor. Certainly a possibility for BO, but still a guess. Redactions have definitely obscured analysis
10/ n amazing Strzok text from Apr 10, 2017 mentioned in Meadows letter cited at rollcall.com/news/politics/… but concealed by FBI in original release of texts. About coordinating "media leak strategy with DOJ".

Roger Stone charged but not malicious leakers.

@RealSLokhova recently speculated connection of interesting Steele detail (implausible claim that Trubnikov a source) to Halper. Makes it all the more important to identify actual sources for Steele and how Steele and they came into contact.
@RealSLokhova 2/ the idea that Steele could locate sources and information deep in bowels of Kremlin within 5 minutes of being retained by Fusion GPS (especially when CIA had long complained of its inability to get such sources) is implausible, as many others have observed.
@RealSLokhova 3/ the failure of US police (FBI), congress and intel community to identify Steele's direct sources is an ongoing and appalling scandal. Because of outrageous partisanship, Mueller didn't even try.

I was very dubious of Douma attribution. The scene, while horrific, looked staged. I spent time parsing the videos and you could see that bodies had been moved around for greater effect and use that information to place videos in chronological order. Foam at mouth in later
2/ videos not present in earlier videos. Many other details suspicious. Michael Kobs was very very sharp eyed as were others.
3/ the hospital videos, while widely disseminated as supposedly horrifying, when examined closely, didn't show anything except people being hosed. There were so many jihadi videographers alerted to scene that they got into one another's videos. Totally staged.

Hitchens' article in Daily Mail dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7… contains details of how the OPCW reports were altered. Original report included exculpatory (to Assad) evidence that levels of chlorinated organics where bodies discovered was very low and not different from neutral sites.
2/ "behind the backs" of report authors, a "second report" was prepared in which the exculpatory information was deleted. The scientists protested - including the email recently leaked. OPCW leaders pretended to compromise.
3/ instead, OPCW leaders prepared a "third version" (which was published) omitting exculpatory information and leading news organizations around the world to believe that an airborne chemical attack had occurred
