Tried Cash App because I'm sort of professionally obligated to understand how to move money around.

It's amazing how much better UX has gotten in the last few years when someone cares about that and relentlessly optimizes for it.
Signed up, added $5 from an existing bank account, and ordered a debit card within about 3 minutes.
It's a really interesting comparison to Paypay and the similar Japanese wallet apps, which are much, much busier in terms of design and extremely optimized for QR code payments (which is where all the money is long-term for them).
