I'm curious about Kenya's Integrated population registration system(IPRS)system which is theoretically "a one stop shop for all the population data-the single source of truth for population of all Kenyan and foreign resident in Kenya" according to @ImmigrationDept
I needed an ID replacement a few weeks back and that went as smoothly and I had my new ID within two weeks. The problem came up when I needed to register for something using the ID. Many orgs eg banks verify your ID with the govt through direct access to the IPRS system
The IPRS system should theoretically allow for fraud detection/ fake ID detection.

When I was opening an account, they checked the IPRS system and my ID didn't appear, though it had been issued to me two weeks earlier. I was sent to Huduma Centre

This whole story on cons reminds me about the way I almost got conned by @CiikuKabura last year pretending that she had been arrested 😂

I found out she had conned at least 2 other people, too.

I kept all the screenshots 😂

She convinced me that she worked at the Norfolk as the Executive Chef 😂

(I later called them and CinCin is a bar not restaurant and the whole hotel doesn't have an Executive Chef)
She even talked about having a newspaper article done about her etc and she sounded legit with the whole profile picture and ish and she always sounded busy and she was always "coming from work"

How did you find out that your parents were separating/ getting divorced?
Just before I left high school to go home, the deputy head teacher called me to tell me that I would meet my mom at the Njuguna's bus stop when coming from school ( school was past Nakuru) I got there and she was waiting for me which was odd.
I would always find my way home. She picked me up and see went to a different place and I saw my clothes and my siblings were there too. After dinner, mom sat us down and told us that she was leaving and she explained as best she could why.
