It looks as if @malachybrowne (NYT) & @Bellingcat have landed a new Russian-war-crime-coup by pushing the alleged evidence back and forth until it fits.

The crucial thing in this context, however, is that the BBC clearly claimed that the first air strike was reported at about 8:40. (That is 30min prior to the WH sundail 9:10 2nd airstrike. Compare the subtitles!) So, the 8:40 figure for the first strike seemed to be fixed.
Since @HRIMark and I pointed out that 9:10 is impossible for a 2nd strike, NYT and Bellingcat changed the reported 1st strike into the 2nd strike and just put the alleged 2nd before it. Now the reported 1st strike is the 2nd and the new Bellingcat-1st wasn't reported at all.
Allegedly (acc. to @malachybrowne and @trbrtc ) this is consistent with other evidence, such as the plane-spotter reports and the unencrypted "candy" conversations of fighter jet pilots.
The point is, that's not true.

The NYT apparently used the same footage as the BBC and thus, among other things, a piece of the sky filmed from a hiding place 100m east and against the sun.

But what the BBC seemed to overlook was the plane. The NYT, on the other hand, found a small white dot, zoomed in close and voila: a MIG29 in the east of the city on its way from south to north.

This jet was arbitrarily attributed the number 17 and the "Candy" radio message.
(It should be mentioned that the jet spot appears exactly where some dirt on the camera's precautionary dust cover also sticks. Maybe this is why the BBC missed it.)

Be that as it may, in all the video footage of that day at that place, there is only one massive crater. Two bombs of this type would probably have caused two of these clearly visible craters and at least I couldn't find a 2nd one.
