Corbyn, we agreed, was a player who was objectively quite crap yet beloved by his home crowd. Man Utd era Diego Forlan was probably the best we came up with.
Burgon was obviously a Luiz or Mustafi figure - shocking liability yet somehow keeps getting in the team
Chuka is obviously Bendtner - massively rates himself, never actually performs to remotely the required level, keeps switching clubs
Jacob RM had an Özil vibe - classy, elegant yet now benched by his manager
