Snow: "Do you regret the thousands of pounds you took off the Iran state broadcaster when working for them?"

Corbyn: "I took part in some programmes on Press TV, I stopped doing anything with Press TV when they dealt with the elections in the way they did."

Liar.

#GE19 1/13
The election in Iran were in June 2009. Corbyn in fact only STARTED working for the Iranians state in June 2009.

And rather than stop working for them, actually continued to work for them for 3 more years. 2
Some presenters did indeed quit Press TV in June '09, like Nick Ferrari.

Corbyn did cancel a show as the news broke, but like George Galloway and Lauren Booth continued to be paid by the Iranians and promote their twisted propaganda, as they oppressed their people. 3
Corbyn can hardly pretend that he didn't know what was happening, here are some reports from his good friends at Amnesty. 4
Press TV continued to court controversy, with Ken Livingstone coming in for particular criticism & that 'his work for Press TV is incompatible with being a democratic party's candidate for the most important elected municipal post [London mayor] in the country.' 5
It wasn't just Livingstone who got in trouble, Corbyn was named, shamed and criticised in an Ofcom ruling made against Press TV in 2010. 6

It was Ofcom who finally saw off Press TV, revoking their licence in 2012, for non-payment of fines for showing the forced confession of a tortured journalist.

It was only at this point when they lost their licence, that he actually stopped doing so. 7
A problem for Corbyn was that the journalist had actually been working for C4 at the time.

But Corbyn insists on lying, saying that he stopped working for Press TV in summer 2009. 8
Some details on the journalist Maziar Bahari and what happened. 9
A few highlights of Corbyn's career of the Islamic state of Iran's tv station, Press TV. 10
Adil "the BBC invite the Zionist liars, who keep lying & always get away with it..."

Corbyn: "Adil, have you used you right as a licence payer to complain to the BBC about their coverage"

A: "Do you think they listen to us..."

C: "Good point thank you very much Adil."
Corbyn: "I think there is a bias towards saying that Israel is a democracy in the Middle-East, that Israel has a right to exist, that Israel has its security concerns." 12
On the death of Osama bin Laden

"a tragedy, upon a tragedy, upon a tragedy"

The next thread (20:00 tonight) will show that the Iranians £20,000 went a long, long way. 13/13
