Of the argument: The Iran Deal had nothing to do with Syria / human rights / etc, it was only about nukes (and that's okay) - a short thread (ending with a block):
If you even acknowledge this, you're acknowledging how deeply amoral, myopic, racist, and unsustainable the deal was - and its process, its outcome, and the people involved in drafting it. "We don't care about you, only about the regime's nukes".
You're basically saying: We, America, only care about nukes. We do not care about Syrian blood or Iranian dignity. We do not care how many of you drown, starve, or burn to death. We do not care how many boatful of refugees drowns. All we care about is the Iranian regime's nukes.
So if this is your framing, and you think this is a valid and respectful thing to tell children of the of the Middle East, then all I can tell you is, fuck you. We are done compromising on our dignity. We are done being silent as you talk over us and talk down to us. Fuck you.
And now, comes a block.
Some Americans really don't know how racist they sound. Or maybe they just don't care. Either way, we're not waiting on you, and we're done just nodding or squirming quietly. If you disrespect our blood and dignity - then fuck you.
