@NIACouncil member @AssalRad resorts to a known tactic of constantly mentioning the threat of war with #Iran to create a climate of fear that is completely unfounded and baseless.
While no one wants a new war in this already troubled region, Rad compares the U.S. military to that of Saddam. Even elementary school children understand this comparison is quite ridiculous.
However, she's desperate to help Iran's regime save face.
This is the regime the likes of Assal Rad justify and lobby for.

“In addition to its involvement in violent crackdowns and serious human rights abuses in Iran, the Basij recruits and trains fighters for the IRGC-QF, including Iranian children, who then deploy to Syria to support the brutal Assad regime.”

As a result of Obama's 2015 nuclear deal, Iran was capable of spending between $6 billion and $35 billion
a year to keep Assad in power, according to Harvard-educated political scientist Dr. Majid Rafizadeh.

Rad goes on to justify Iran’s breaches of the 2015 nuclear deal. What she won’t mention is how the mullahs have been violating the Obama-blessed framework from early on.
This thread sheds light.
Rad even falls to the low of describing Iran’s recent attack on commercial ships in regional waters as “incidents” and “seen strictly in defensive terms.”

“The Trump administration must act prudently by ending its ‘maximum pressure’ campaign and pinning its hopes of a resolution on dialogue, not capitulation.”
In short, Rad calls on Trump to become another Obama.
Here’s a reminder of the Obama years.
Of course, Rad is a member of NIAC, Iran’s disgraced lobby in the U.S.
Iranians have portrayed their utter hatred of NIAC through these hashtags:
