"We always find time for the things we put first."
*Plus recommendations that can enhance your life*
To be a Physician? Successful business owner?
If so, you have a dream that many bright, ambitious people share. Some will come true, most will not.
Why?
It's easy TO DREAM; It's hard TO DO.
The DREAMER in us sets our goals, the DOER in us reaches them.
The DREAMER's worst enemy is the DOER's best friend:
Time rules the DREAMER.
Be a DOER & you can be a success.
Once today is gone, you'll never have another.
Knowing how YOU use your time, & deciding how YOU want to use it, makes certain that each day is full of events/activities that help you meet your GOALS.
This way, you can thoroughly examine the realistic strategy that you must pursue in order to achieve it/them.
This strategy requires TIME and (disciplined) ACTION.
I utilize PAPER & ELECTRONIC
(Electronic)
In the notes section of my iPhone, whenever I get an idea or new task, I add to it in no particular order. This note is a disorganized list of EVERYTHING that needs to get done.
I then identify which tasks are to be completed on which days of the week based on that days already existing schedule.
Each week, sometimes more than once, I create a new weekly paper list using a pen & blank paper, identical to the photo I provided.
So much time creating a to-do list?
"Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe." -Lincoln
Plan tomorrows work today.
Once that list is created...
YOU. MUST. COMPLETE. IT.
Going to bed exhausted from CRUSHING your goals is ALWAYS better than going to bed rested and regretful that you did not do what you know you should have done.
"There's too much to do now, I'll do it next week"
"I meant to do it but..."
"I don't have to write all that stuff down..."
"I already do that, it's all in my head though..."
"I don't know anyone that does that..."
-Know when to say "NO." Do not give someone else your time if it inhibits you from what needs to be done.
-Always put "YOU" on your to-do list. Time management is also important in that it allows time for hobbies, family, self.
-Don't expect to change everything at once. Set realistic goals of changing behavior & time management.
-I personally know no one who does what I do. Don't let the weak humans in your life trick you into thinking that their behavior is acceptable.
Use twitter to find the humans on this path. Below is a “starter pack.”

I recommend that with every new life-enhancing follow, you unfollow one that is insignificant.
Imagine opening twitter and being inundated with life enhancing positivity. Do that.
