The pressure on POSTPARTUM BODIES is insane. In recent times we've tried to push women more and more toward getting their prebaby body back, or at least as close as possible - which has made many women insecure about their postpartum bodies. But HI guys :) you made a human
Your postpartum period is at least 6 weeks and some organs take up to 6 months to return to their pre-pregnant state.
Don't let societal pressure take away from your wonderful creation of your bub.
This is probably not going to change anything - but I hope it helps u feel betr
About your post baby body.
That you made a human, the stretch marks, change in shape, etc is all a testimony of the journey you went through.
You can achieve your prebaby body - with the right diet and exercise. But stressing and feeling bad about it will only do worse
Love your body and be good to yourself.
Every1 wishes they could have the ideal pregnancy where they eat in moderation and work out; but its HARD, you're hormonal af and some days are just not good days.
Maybe the first preg wasn't great and the second could be better
Eat healthy - there is healthy preg weight gain (no you're not eating for 2! And don't let your man influence you w cravings lol!)
Do simple and light weight exercises in moderation
Try and have a health prepregnancy body weight as this will make it easier to return
After pregnancy - try and do the same! BUT DAMN; it is NOT easy. Trying to raise a kid, on your own sometimes, w the dads working or not even in the picture. And then just being tired, feeding, washing, eating - people do not have luxurious pregs. Cut yourself some slack
And try to remember and list down all the good things you do and things you should reward yourself for; because it will all remind you that this postpreg body is just a small part of a whole package. :) You'll get there slowly. Slow and steady. The end and thank you for coming
