You start with 1 naira, put it into something and pull out 2 naira. You put 2 naira in and pull out 4.

That is how you grow. When you give away that 2 naira on top, you start from the beginning....don’t be stupid.

There are 4 stages to building a business:

1. Get people to take notice of you.
2. Convert as much of these people into first time customers.
3. Deliver value to them such that they are wowed.
4. Get them to buy more from you.
Each of these stages should be looked at SEPARATELY.

They are actually distinct stages. If your business is suffering it is usually from one, two or three of these stages.

Find out which stage is causing the clog in the wheels and fix it.
I approach my businesses this way

First I just make all the noise to get MY IDEAL CLIENT to notice me. When I have this locked down

Then I try to get conversions.

Then I keep improving customer experience.

Then I create more backend products

This is how I predict my Income and develop an air tight formula for achieving whatever number I set out for.

In this thread I’ll show you this exact formula, follow it and you will begin to get better results in business and in your personal finance.
Step 1: Write out how much you want to make in the next one month (or one year).

Let us say the number you pick is 1 million naira.

Step 2; Divide 1M by 30 days (if yours is a 1 month plan) or Divide by 12 months (for 1 year plans)
Step 3: One million naira divided by 30 = 33,334 naira

This means you need to hit 34k everyday for 30 days to hit 1,000,000 naira in a month.

Quick answer: Yes!

But as with all businesses, there are things that MUST be done to succeed.

Let's see them.
The first thing to do:

1. Research the Market.

This is ultimate. You can't and should never ignore it. In doing this, find out:

1a. Who are the people likely to pay for your service?

Where do they stay?

What is their income and lifestyle?

Where and how can you reach them?
1b. Who are your competitors? What are they doing?

Who are they serving?

How are they promoting their business?

What method do they apply in seeking new clients?

These questions will reveal a lot to you.

You MUST study the market to fish out your ideal clients!

So I always get the question: What's your secret?

I dont even think I've "made it", although quite a number think I have, so maybe I have.

Anyway, so my response to that question...
would always be,"there's no secret". And truly there's no secret. So if there's no secret,why did I use the word "secret" in the title of this thread?

Because the word "secret" is an attention grabber. Learn to use it well where appropriate.

Onward.

There are no secrets BUT...
there are patterns. Watch successful people or healthy people, or rich people, or any high achieving person in any field, you'll find there are patterns they follow, things they do that give them results on a consistent basis.

It's no different with successful entrepreneurs.

How to determine scope and price in the first meeting with a prospect. Discussion sequence:

1. What’s your goal?
2. What’s getting in the way? Why?
3. How might we solve? Are you sure?
4. What’s that worth?
5. How will we measure?
6. (Float a price range).

Diagnose before you prescribe. Make sure it’s a problem worth solving. Offer recommendations (even if it doesn’t involve you). And only offer your solution, if you feel confident it will actually help them.

Mindset going into a #sales meeting to remove the pressure:

Don’t ever WANT the job. (That makes you say and do funny things). Rather, WANT to genuinely HELP the other person. Even if it means it has nothing to do with the service your offer.

Walk away if it’s not a good fit.

It's not well known that the congregation of the First African Baptist Church in Richmond donated approximately $40 towards Irish Famine Relief in 1847. Around 2,000 members of the congregation were slaves, and only 150 were free.
Instead of thanking this impoverished and enslaved community for their generosity, the Irish American Boston Pilot newspaper used this story to mock British philanthropy and essentially argue that it was proof that the Irish had it “worse” than slaves.
Thirteen years later the same newspaper argued that the abolition of slavery would be a terrible mistake as "by overstocking the market of labor [it would] do incalculable injury to white hands.”

If you have registered a limited liability company with the Corporate Affairs Commission and you have opened a bank account and you are using the account for personal transactions, you run the risk of having tax issues with the FIRS. #thread
When FIRS discovers the account, they will ask you to account for the money. They will ask you for different kinds of accounts. Financial, management etc. You will be expected to show your VAT payments as well.
If you claim you don’t do any business with the company, they will not believe you because there are transactions in the company account.
