Let me break it down for the dimwits who ask HOW is CAA against India's Muslims.
When a nationwide NRC happens,if Rahul,Amit,Manpreet,Peter,Tenzing,Boman,Ali are found as illegal immigrants living in India,CAA will ensure that only ONE out of these 7names doesn't get citizenship.
Considering we can't get proofs of education of the most powerful man in this country,u expect poor Indians to be equipped with documents to prove their citizenship?
Only Muslims will suffer post NRC thanks to CAA.Any non-Muslim,with or without papers,has been safeguarded by CAA.
To hit the point home because some idiots still are obfuscating facts and asking how CAA and NRC can be seen together, our Home minister Amit Shah had said this in October 2019:

Today, the urs of Shah-e-Hamdan would have been observed with much fervor in Khanqah-i-Moula in Srinagar.

Hazrat Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadani was a Persian Sufi and poet who shaped the lives of Kashmiris & is Kashmir's patron saint.
6th Dhul Hijjah is his death anniversary.
Kashmiris sing this folk song for him:

Let us flock to the shrine of Shah-e-Hamdan at Khanqah-i-Moula
Let us recite Aurad loudly

It is Ofcourse the gifted spot
It abounds in saintly blessings
The shrine of Khanqah-i-Moula is a place of unimaginable veneration.

I'd also like to share one of Shah-e-Hamdan's poem and a will he wrote to a king from a book my mother gifted me.

As for the verses Dixit ji is pointing out, the context of both is when Muslims who came to do hajj pilgrimage were attacked & killed..
.. by the Quraysh tribe (who had not converted to Islam and were opposing Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h.) inspite of signing a treaty with the prophet for not attacking pilgrims during the pilgrimage.
The people who attacked were friends, some of them were even family.

However, after all the tedious rounds of NRC verifications (Remember demonstration and add 20 times more hardness and everything into it), approx 17.5 crores (1750 million) of Non-Muslims (Mostly Hindus) or Almost 13-15% of Indians will lose their immediate nationality of India.
Among these numbers (17.5 Crores) more than 85% of will be ST, SC, OBCs. And almost 2.1 Crores (210 million) of Muslims or almost 1.6% of Indians will lose their immediate nationality.

To everyone who may eventually rea this, I wanted to help those not in India understand what #CAA or #CAB is and why many parts of India are rising in protest, leading to a suppression of dissent using police force, which may or may not be reported on in the press.
The government of the nationalist, Right-wing party carried out an exercise in the Indian state of Assam where they drew up a Citizen's List. Anyone who didn't appear on the list had to then appear before tribunals and prove that they *were* citizens of India. (2)
Ostensibly done to weed out illegal immigrants, it was widely perceived as an anti-Muslim exercise, designed to disenfranchise Muslim citizens, in keeping with the Hindutva (or Hindu supremacist) ideals of the ruling party, on the strength of which it roared into power. (3)

NRC - Now only limited to Assam focuses on deciding the citizenship of those living in #Assam by judging their residentship/presence (or that of their ancestors) before March 24, 1971.
