Prediction: Netflix (and Disney) become theatre chain owner-operators.
Netflix's price segmentation is all messed by the cinema-chains refusing to distribute their content without 60 day windowing (whereas optimum is something like 2 weeks.)
In essence Netflix is missing out on the $4/hour customer-set and monetizing everything at $0.20 per hour

They could do all kinds of interesting things with subscriber bundles (movie-pass, but solvent!) and content-length (stranger things marathons!)
Meanwhile imagine the pricing power that a theatre could command if it were the exclusive home of Star Wars and Marvel, and the multiplier that Disney could generate through merchandise sales.
(As a by-product the two content giants would massively undercut the other studios whose content would necessarily play third fiddle.)
(This also fits with the general thread of vertical integration as optimum strategy during massive technological transitions)
(Not least of which if any entity is going to solve the chicken-egg problem of virtual reality content and virtual reality hardware it should be the house that the mouse built which has that kind of expertise with its theme parks etc.)
