Anyone who can’t tell the different between brisket and ribs should be banned from elected office
I need to brag for one teeny second about St. Louis-style ribs — the cut where more of the fat (and meat, cut from the belly) is on the bone. They reign supreme and anyone who disagrees is also unfit for elected office.
Also — does anyone else do grilled pork steaks? Is that just a St. Louis thing? My stepdad’s favorite activity is grilling pork steaks on the deck while listening to Cardinals baseball and drinking a Budweiser. Not a pork chop, mind you.
My stepdad also believes that fried sliced taters with ketchup = salad. I will never challenge this.
He also — true story — once blocked my hand from changing the thermostat with a meat fork (he had been outside grilling). He appeared out of the ether.
