To be honest what I'm really saying is that we're all being hypocrites all the time because in contemporary human culture there are so many ideas and thoughts and emotions and beliefs floating around that it's virtually impossible for us not to adopt them in contradictory fashion
(I have this weird affliction I suspect a surprisingly large number of people alive today have whether they realize it or not of actually disagreeing to some extent or another with basically everything I hear everyone say, including myself, a likely after-effect of postmodernism)
(I'm always amused when I see folks saying online that I'm sure of myself or certain I'm correct like I'm some sort of modernist, or that I see everything as a zero-sum differential like some sort of postmodernist, when I think I've said 1,000 times here that I'm a metamodernist)
(I just think that there are simultaneous elements of truth and untruth in almost everything, and our job at least maybe is to try to navigate in good faith as best we can how to resolve a world of contradictions and hope such resolutions create more not less interpersonal peace)
