Those who want to boycott #Chhapaak ,It's not easy to be an acid attack survivor .
I shall share a story in simple terms of an acid attack which I attended long back.
I got a call from Emergency that an acid attack case is being shifted to ICU .

I went to the ICU ,There was a huge crowd outside ICU with Media people asking me what are doing even before I could enter the ICU.
This was a case of some political rivalry .I told the security person to send the crowd .I replied that I'm seeing her now .I went to the patient

I went there and saw Plastic surgeon was attending her ,so i asked nurses to arrange things & give file
I read the history of attack.
She was a young lady in late 20s
She actually had turned her face ,so the acid just spilled on her neck & chin ,some part of left ear.

Will not go deep into medicine & medical terms .
Only Her Neck chin & left ear was affected. Some fingers of left hand.
No other body parts .
She was beautiful with a fair complexion.
I proceeded to examine her & asked some basic history for PAC

We wait for surgeon to decide when he is taking for a procedure/ surgery .
We proceed accordingly
Initial procedure was uneventful & her vitals were stable through out the surgery. We make sure of pain management .Surgeon sees that it doesn't get infected.

She came multiple times to get operated .
Acid burns need multiple surgeries .
This was only restricted to neck chin & ear .
I have attended her many times
After the skin contracture post burns especially neck it becomes a challenging case for anesthesia.
We plan it very well

The surgeons & anesthetists plan accordingly because airway becomes the biggest challenge with neck contractures.
This itself is a big topic.
Will not get into too much of medical terms here .
When I observed her for the last time she looked different with two colours .

This case is one with burns just on neck chin & ear. Still she looked different because of her fair complexion.
Imagine other acid attack victims who suffer much larger damage like the whole face ,nose ,eyes they can lose vision .
Imagine if chest & hands also.

It depends on the acid also which is used .Some acids are very volatile & damage skin muscle even upto an extent exposing bone .
Again this is a big topic which acid & I don't want to give ideas to monsters here naming them .
They are quick in this .Criminals

I have just tweeted in very simple layman terms without mentioning the anesthesia & surgical procedure in brief.
The challenges we face & the outcome of procedure for which we ourselves are not satisfied looking at the acid attack victim. Imagine how she lives her life with this

So morons it's very easy to tell to boycott such a movie giving an important message to people.
Imagine the scar life long even after multiple surgeries.
It's a psychological pain .They suffer a lot mentally for being scarred for life. Dont you dare make fun

Deepika or anyone from the Tukde Tukde gang didn't ask me to tweet. This is just one case I shared .
Brave of her to take up a real life character of Laxmi Agarwal in #Chhapaak .
