It would be useful/interesting if a major media outlet regularly published "4 years ago today" pieces during the 2020 election. For example, on 2/25/20 they'd remind the public about how Trump said he hoped to sue newspapers for critical articles.

On July 3, 2020 they can run with the "four years ago" story about how Trump's campaign circulated an anti-Hillary ad with a star of David and money on it, that was created by a white supremacist. mic.com/articles/14771…
On July 20 they could run the "four years ago" story about Trump supporters booing Ted Cruz at the RNC. It would of course have to be contextualized by a discussion of what maverick Ted has done since then.
