Fees can appear a burden, but they also signal people willing to pay real value to use a network.

This metric tells me network users find equal utility in #Ethereum & #Bitcoin.
As a comp, check out transaction fees for “next gen” smart contract platforms as they launch.

They will be / already are very low txn fee networks given the abundance of transaction supply with little demand.

Useful ones will grow txn fees or tolerated inflation w/ time.
Both in dollar terms, not % terms.

$’s can go up, while %’s go down 🙂

Property rights built the Ethereum ecosystem. People bought into the crowdsale in exchange for property: buyers received ether on this new ledger. Since then, many ether holders have built on top of the network to make Ethereum more useful. /3

1/ Be transparent on what you are doing. Explain it to the people in plain words. Provide roadmaps and outline expectations. And please replace old outdated ethereum.org - it's Ethereum tombstone it doesn't help anyone. @ethhub_io doing what official website can't.
2/ Be transparent on who is building Ethereum. Outline what doing people at EF and what volunteer contributors doing. Who is Core Devs? Are there open positions in Core Team or it's a closed club? How someone could join @EthCatHerders?

#Ethereum is about to undergo the #Thirdening - a reduction in issuance of new $ETH to miners from 3 ETH/block to 2 ETH/block, or a reduction of 33%. It will happen at block 7,080,000 as part of the Constantinople hard fork, which is estimated to be January 16th.
That's a bit like the US Federal Reserve saying, "we're about to reduce the number of new dollars we print next year by 33%." This is one step along the way to #Ethereum's eventual plan to have <1% annual issuance, as Proof of Stake and Serenity roll out. #Thirdening
When an asset's supply goes down (fewer miners selling newly-mined $ETH), assuming demand is the same (or higher), prices trend up. This is obvious when looking at $BTC price mapped against the #halvening, a similar event in $BTC where block reward halves, next one is May 2020.
