I used to study NLP and use Richard Bandler's book "Get The Life You Want". (I think Bandler's kind of a self-centered ass... but his stuff works.)
After I got away from my ex... I was still HAUNTED by this woman. She was an evil witch in my mind
So Bandler's NLP has these techniques to erase and release bad memories--but do it fast--not like therapy.
Take the thing that's haunting you...
✅Give it a size in your mind. Is it huge? Average? Small? Is it color? Is it a still picture or a movie? determine variables on as many as you can.
✅Next: Can U make it bigger or Smaller?
✅Once you get some 'control', you can change it forever. Speed it up--forwards and back--over and over. Until it gets silly. Until you can laugh. change the faces. Add stuff
Do that or similar to change it forever. Do it agian and again.
It's so simple but so powerful man... The whole book is a huge inspiration. I grabbed the audio version and it's actually the author's orig lectures.
I don't always have it... It doesn't "stop my depression", but it makes it pass quicker...
I really hope you can find a tiny flash of that 'light feeling'...That RELIEF & joy... & grab on and keep it Stun.
