I've seen this movie before. Turned out the opening scene was misleading.
Seriously though, it really takes some doing after three years of failed threats of no deal and we'll divide the Member States to believe that the reasons this round will be different are threats of no deal and divisions among the Member States.
If the EU consults widely among its members, and the UK keeps negotiating positions secret to a very few people, the EU is bound to be more united than the UK.

As for no-deal, is this still the German car makers coming to the rescue?

This paragraph is not correct though despite being the new Brexiteer mantra. The Single Market has multiple identities (recall all those Brexit supporting businesses proclaiming it didn't really exist in their area), and there's no global trend away from (or towards) EU approach
And it is the detail that business needs to see, of what is meant by alignment and what barriers to trade will therefore exist, as per @AllieRenison and IoD survey out this morning theguardian.com/politics/2020/…

The UK Government does not have realistic objectives for trade deals or really know why it wants them, and potential trade partners are in turn unsure as to how much they should be pointing this out or whether to start in the expectation of confusion later thesun.co.uk/news/10775218/…
Example - in one of the leaked reports of progress on informal US trade talks UK officials reported happily that they'd been told by US counterparts we were doing better than they expected. US unofficial message at the time "we've come to kick their butts to get ready"
A full US trade deal means a few minor market access concessions for the UK in the US, and the UK making significant changes to our approach to food safety and technical regulations (probably with NHS excluded). Still controversial. Worthwhile?

I had no idea how much the Conservatives would miss having a dual location for the European Parliament, but given their apparent proposals to do the same for the Commons and Lords, as reported by the Sunday Times...
Unless, and going out on a limb a little here, this is another example of a government announcement with little actual substance whose implications have not in fact been fully thought through.
A Boris clearly being a public sector vanity project which seems straightforward but in fact turns out to be costly, often unworkable, usually unnecessary. See Garden Bridge, Thames estuary Airport, New Routemasters, Northern Ireland Scotland Bridge etc.

At least he has ideas...

it takes a week for Keith to even let him close. Shiro brings gum and snacks as a peace offering, letting Keith warm up to him slow. and their first football game looms close by the time he even brings up the prospect of Keith joining the team.

Well... mostly normal blacksmith. Some might say he’s odd just by virtue of who his son is — Keith Kogane.
Keith is probably the one truly odd thing about Garrison. The thing is, no one can quite put their finger on /why/ he’s so odd. Sure, he’s a bit of a loner, but something has always set him apart as different.

Not that Keith cares. He’s got his dad, and that’s all he needs.
