This is interesting....but...
Biden n = 169
Sanders n = 130
Warren n = 65
Pete n = 41
In raw numbers, this means their sample found 5 Pete supporters who’d go for trump and 6 Warren supporters who said that. I’m no statistician, but that seems like fairly unreliable evidence.
Check out this data. Again, the numbers are tiny here, but what's up with all of those Biden supporters who would choose Trump over Pete? And also, worth noting that the percentage of Tulsi supporters who'd choose Trump over anyone but her is, well, very high across the board.
Also. LOL that every single Delaney supporter (of whom there were 5) would pick Trump over Pete.
Also, what's up with this sample of Biden supporters, 20 of whom would choose Trump over Pete, 17 who'd choose Trump over Warren, and only 11 who'd choose Trump over Bernie? This sure isn't about ideological proximity.
There were 5 Delaney supporters in the sample. 100% said they would vote for Trump over anyone but Delaney. Of Tulsi's supporters, >70% said they'd choose Trump over Sanders or Warren...so GTFOH with the whole "Tulsi is a leftist" thing.
Confirmation bias, it turns out, is a thing across the ideological spectrum. Note how many times these fairly meaningless statistics (way within the margin of error) have been retweeted and liked.

This is such an important point. After an event in Portland at which **THERE WERE NO CEMENT MILKSHAKES,** the entire right wing mediascape talked obsessively about cement milkshakes for days. In the minds of many conservatives, cement milkshakes were (and still are) real.
The New York Times even ran with the entirely bogus "cement milkshake" story.
The conservative blue checks were wall-to-wall with the cement milkshake story. Haven't checked, but I wonder how many have corrected the record. Also wonder how many have complained about the "Twitter mob" against the Covington kids.

As I first wrote several weeks ago would happen, the Democratic debates have restructured the polling, putting, as I predicted, @KamalaHarris and @ewarren within striking distance of @JoeBiden.

Biden 22%
Harris 17%
Warren 15%
Sanders 14%
Buttigieg 4%

Months of assertions that #Biden was "inevitable" have been eviscerated. Unable to stand up to #Harris at the debates, Biden appeared tired, confused and unprepared, despite having been kept away from major events for weeks by his handlers. Harris has been campaigning daily.
#Warren won the first debate handily, with only @JulianCastro and @CoryBooker offering any other strong moments in the two hour debate.
The new rankings put #Harris and Warren in the lead for most electable and many are already talking about Harris/Warren as the 2020 ticket.

Critical point here is that the MSM is claiming that #Sanders "came within a handful of votes" of #HillaryClinton, when he lost in a landslide of 4M votes, 1k pledged delegates (not SDs) and a dozen states.

This false narrative harms #Sanders--it's meant to highlight how badly he's doing in 2020 and prop up #Biden. But Sanders is actually doing better than in 2016. There are just more players. And Biden is being replaced by a younger centrist, #Buttigieg.

First of all, it's fascinating to me just from the standpoint of how even the most absurd propositions can draw wide audiences, when thinking people should be able to dismiss them out of hand. 2/
Second, the fact that we will argue ad inifinitum about subjects that don't deserve a second look is a serious indictment of something - either our inherently American contrariness or the ground-leveling effect social media has. 2/
