Today, we're going to chat a little bit about deliverables, compensation, follower size, and how to leverage all 3 to land either a bigger deal or a future long-term partnership. But before we get started, here are some things you should know.
1. NEVER reveal the name of the brand/agency you are working with nor disclose how much said brand/agency paid you. It goes against a lot of their legal guidelines which you can find in their emails or contracts you sign with them.
Yes, you can talk about deliverables + compensation, but only to a certain extent. Tread lightly. Furthermore, never reach out to anyone other than your campaign manager, unless they have instructed you to do so. You can burn bridges that way.
2. READ THE CONTRACT! A lot of the time, there are clauses in contracts which state you are not allowed to directly share the outcome of a partnership with other agencies/brands. To be on the safe side, you can include WHO you've worked with in your media kits, but do not share
the metrics of that partnership. Look over those agreements with a fine-tooth comb, to save yourself.

Now, let's jump into this thread.

Hyperlocal doesn't mean the brand is local. The influencer is speaking to their local audience. When a brand approaches you OR when you successfully pitch, offer a full range of deliverables and/or a long-term partnership.
Explain the benefits of entering a long-term partnership and/or play up the key benefits of your local audience.

For example:

Brand: We would LOVE to partner with you to share an IG post & IG story with your audience for X rate.
You: That would be awesome! I'm currently planning a post surrounding this topic/idea, so this partnership comes right in time. I can do a dedicated IG post & story for X rate. I also would love to add a blog post or video for an additional X amount.
You: This would resonate well with my audience, which is primarily based in [location] because [XYZ]. Adding in a blog post/video post would be beneficial because it would [amplify your message, provide a better ROI, help exceed KPI's, build awareness, etc].
As always, securing partnerships should be MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL. Both parties need to walk away happy & satisfied. All brands have different budgets, therefore you will always be somewhat flexible in your offerings.
The better you get at negotiating & keeping an open line of communication, the better you can build relationships.
