The DC Madam investigation was started by the US Postal Service because the DC Madam had been sending threatening letters to a man in the Navy since 1986, she had a relationship with him. The IRS then started investigating her.

@Annsk1 This combined investigation went on for 2 years. Palfrey was indicted for money laundering, illegal mail use, & prostitution-related racketeering charges. There was no woman involved in starting the investigation. Jessica was not involved.

Jessica Collins had lost custody of her daughter and had no contact with her for three years. The daughter ran away from foster care, reconnected with her mother, then they went on the run.

@Annsk1 Her daughter then moved into a townhouse with roommates, she was using drugs and had overdosed at least once before dying from a synthetic opioid overdose.

@Annsk1 Believe what you want but Jessica is a very troubled woman whose daughter sadly passed away due to opioids. As time has gone on, Jessica's story has gotten more bizarre. Her bipolar disorder is probably untreated and feeding her delusions isn't helping her.

I posted info on her being an escort as well. The DC madam ran her escort service by phone, as she lived in California. All interviews were by phone, then photos were sent etc. Palfrey did not post big ads and escorts were not called directly by clients.

@MidNiteMJ I do not doubt that Jessica was an escort but she did not work for Deborah Palfrey, the DC Madam. She appears to have been an independent escort. Palfrey didn't take out big advertisements & clients didn't call escorts directly.

@MidNiteMJ Jessica is falsely accusing Stephen Miller as being involved. He is only 34, in 2003 he was only 17-18 yrs old. He was attending University, in his first year, at Duke University in North Carolina & not in DC.
