There’s a decent chance Brexit will happen and Trump will be acquitted within a few hours of each other.

They met the same day Supreme Court ruled prorogation was illegal and Dems announced impeachment.

I got to ask Pete Buttigieg about how his time at Oxford Uni influenced him recently.

As well as the usual stuff, he said something unexpected at the end - it helped him find faith...

Religion plays a big part in Buttigieg’s pitch. His stump speech includes a riff on how Trump and his admin are betraying Christian values - help thy neighbour, turn the other cheek, do unto others how you’d like done unto you etc.

He’s flagged it in debates. “The Republican Party likes to cloak itself in their language of religion,” he said in one. “We should call out hypocrisy when we see it”

It’s led to Trump taking a swipe. “Now all of a sudden he's become extremely religious,” he mocked recently.

Just been in the Senate chamber for the final legal arguments in Trump's trial before witnesses vote. Some bits from inside the room...
Joe Manchin gave Lisa Murkowski a huge bear hug when she entered, patting her on the back before they chatted. Two waverers on different sides [Dem + GOP] under immense pressure from their voters back home.
Mitch McConnell, GOP leader, sat back straight and fingers crossed for much of the final 2 hours.

Chuck Schumer, top Democrat, was slumped in his chair, head on his right hand for chunks of the debate.

At 10:30 today, the Supreme Court will sit *for 3 days*, with 11 Justices, on the matter of the prorogation appeals. Last time they did that was with Gina Miller's previous #Brexit case. The judiciary are wielding the big guns on this one. THREAD. 1/
Day 1: Couple of hours each for the plaintiffs in the Miller & Maugham/Cherry cases to put their arguments.
Day 2: Couple of hours each for the defendants (HMG & Advocate General, Scotland) to counter.
Day 3: "Oral interventions", 30 mins each. No Shami.
No room for waffle. 2/

(1) Within an hour or two of sending out #FOIA requests, the federal #TwatWaffles geared up their attack.

First a DM from a French "Honey Pot," addressing me in French, claiming to be a "single" mother with a child.

She immediately asked me how old I was & where I was located.
(2) She also let me know that "Long distance relationships made her nervous."

Zero followers. Zero tweets. Zero retweets.

She was following quite a few people, who are being extra traditionally targeted by the US government, through #ThreatFusionCenters.
(3) Then a few hours ago, I received this request, from someone who is not showing any Twitter activity for more than a year.
