1. More numbers:
(From "Hidden Tribes of America" study.)

Progressives: 8% of electorate, 22% of dem base, 39% in cohort of social media users.

Traditional libs: dems who reflect lib ideas of baby boomers. 11% of electorate, 25% of democrat base, 22% of social media cohort...

2...

Passive libs: weakly engaged. 15% of electorate, 2% of democracy base, 1% of social media users.

Politically disengaged: Obama/Trump democrats. Angry. 26% electorate, 14% dems, 3% social media

Moderates: 15% of electorate, 25% of dems, 13% social media users.

....

3...what this means: What you hear on social media has nothing to do with reality.

39% are progressives. 39% is everyone else.

Progressives would have more power at voting box, but are least reliable voters. So they have less power. (If they voted more, they'd have more...)

4...moderates and traditional libs make up 50% of dems base. Progressives and the angry make up 50%. The angry are more likely to side with progressives, which is part of why primaries are in flux.....

5...so, where are we: The angry are a huge vote in a general. Followed by moderates, passive disengaged, traditional libs and progressives, in that order.

This is why no one can say "If it's not my candidate, it's a conspiracy!"

...and why every dem must vote in the general.
