Bernie Sanders' top surrogates over the past two elections:

- Susan Sarandon (lunatic)

- Killer Mike (misogynist)

- Rashida Tlaib ( #BooHillary )

- Cornell West (crackpot)

- The guy who called people "whores"

Ask yourself why Bernie always surrounds himself with such crap.

Sadly, Bernie's cult members look at this list of his toxically divisive surrogates, and they come away concluding that I'm the one being "divisive" just by pointing it out. They've decided their cult leader can do no wrong, and anyone who doesn't worship him is the real problem.

Part of the problem is that because Bernie has always been something of a punchline to anyone who understands politics, he struggles to get decent surrogates. So he settles for whatever jokers come along. And then he does very little to rein in their absurd and divisive antics.

Because Bernie campaigns like a cult leader, and his fans worship him like a cult, and media pundits are afraid to criticize him for fear the cult will target them, it creates an environment where even reasonable people in his cult are enticed into acting in deranged fashion.

Rashida Tlaib has always been a loose cannon. But when a respected and rising House member like Pramila Jayapal didn't realize in that moment that she should have loudly condemned Tlaib on the spot, it shows how the toxicity of the Bernie cult warps people's perceptions.

In 2016, Bernie had idealistic people supporting him who just wanted to feel good about being liberals. He also had the toxic Bernie Or Bust cult supporting him.

In 2020, most of the feel-good types have moved on from Bernie due to the toxic cult. Now all he has left is the cult

Spoiler alert: the "Bernie Or Bust" cult isn't going to vote for the Democratic nominee in the general election, no matter how much we kiss their ass. They proved that last time. We're better off shouting down their bullshit now, before they manage to do any more damage.

We all spent 2016 kissing the Bernie cult's ass, and where did it get us? Nowhere. Maybe this time we should try to wake them the fuck up by pointing out how deranged their cult is, and see if we can bring some of them back to sanity in time.

Now these sick Bernie fucks are calling me a sexist and a racist. Not surprising. They'll say anything to dismiss anyone who points out that they're part of the shittiest cult in the history of the American left.
