Bernie's instinct is to nationalize every industry. Before we accept these nationalizations, we should demand a predetermined exit strategy in case it goes wrong.
For the record, I think any industry Bernie manages to nationalize will be managed badly and politically, and Bernie supporters will ferociously accuse people of sabotaging the nationalization. Yes, including health care.
Even industries that are run competently by governments in Scandinavia or Singapore will probably be bungled badly by the Bernie people. They are a group specialized in winning factional political battles and shouting down critics on social media, not in running industries.
Electing these people would be a protracted and very painful way of reminding our society that capitalism is often the least bad economic system. I hope we don't need that sort of reminder.
Anyway, I just had to write this before the primaries begin, because once Bernie becomes the presumptive nominee, all anti-Bernie tweets will become pro-Trump tweets by default...so screenshot these while you can. :-)
