What’s the difference? Well for starters this:

No one will remember a single play from this game.. just that the Chiefs “came back” because Mahomes something.

The Super Bowl is about plays people remember. Butler on goaline, Miller stripping Newton, Tyree catch, Elway helicopter, Montana - Taylor.

This didn’t have those. Good game. Good win. Not great super bowl.

2005: Creating Great Customer Experiences, a how-to book. Did my homework, wrote a great proposal, researched agents. I pitched agents and small publishers directly. I got 24 (25?) thanks-but-no-thanks letters.

Some were boilerplate, others included a small, encouraging scrawl. Most common no: “we already have 1 (2, 3) customer SERVICE books on our list, we can’t sell another.” Even though my book was about analyzing the customer EXPERIENCE. #writingcommunity

A niche publisher in my field said he’d be interested in the book if I would re-write it for museums. I went back to the concept and realized I could tweak it to focus on museums, zoos, gardens, and libraries. #writingcommunity

QB1 Matthew Stafford

He always looks good in camp. He looks slimmer, which may have been an intentional choice but might give me a little pause considering he's coming off a back injury and the OL still has a lot of question marks.

Barring another injury, I still expect top 15.

QB2 Tom Savage

He has looked better than any QB2 in years. There has been no battle for QB2 and unless Savage gets hurt, he'll be the only other quarterback on the roster. He has a really nice arm, and unlike his Texans tape he has been quite accurate throughout camp, mostly.

He knew what he had signed onto all those years ago, Auril was not a kind goddess. It did vex him, however, that he should die in the midst of a blizzard. Frost and wind bit at his body and the blood that escaped his wounds took with it valuable heat.

Powers he had earned refused to come to him, Auril, it seemed, had no more use for him. After all he had failed her. He stumbled and felt one of his nearly closed wounds split open. He felt his life ebbing as his sight became naught but swirling ice and darkness.

He stumbled in the ever growing drifts of snow, his limbs becoming numb. He pushed on against his failing body until he felt some of the snow give way accompanied by a crash. He fell and tumbled into an unseen cave. His body, once numb, was ablaze in agony.
