The results mean that five candidates are declaring some form of "winning", including one who is outright declaring victory with 0% of the precincts reporting. A 6th candidate ignored the pesky "election" all together and lurks waiting to buy his way in.
Tomorrow, President Trump will get an hour of undivided attention to lie about, mock, and threaten his enemies. He'll do it while cloaked in the power of the Presidency. The next day, the Senate will cover its eyes and name him their King.
There couldn't be a more important time for Dems to be serious and competent. We're at any incredibly dangerous moment in history. And the first election of that moment involves inefficient counting of the votes and "strategery" of overwhelming white people in a rando state.
I am functionally despondent. Iowa has given us an acrimonious clown show. And a ceaselessly corrupt President and foreign governments who wish to sow destabilization in the West surely can't help but laugh at the performance.
