1) 24x7 call-centre at state #CoronavirusOutbreak Control & Prevention Cell. Similar 24x7 call-centres across all 14 districts. Teams constitute of trained Junior Health Inspectors, doctors & others. @ndtv
2) #Kerala State Control Room - the war room - for all crucial information gathering/dissemination, multi-level co-ordination of all within the Health Department.This is replicated in all 14 districts - to streamline information flow/decision making. #CoronavirusOutbreak @ndtv
3) It's not easy for the 2000+ people in isolation in #Kerala. Dr Kiran, Nodal Officer,Mental Health & his team have called personally called 1500+ people since yesterday, reassuring them , giving them a contact number to call in case of anxiety, sleeplessness etc. #CoronaVirus
The fact that #Mentalhealth, helping people deal with trauma
- anxiety, worry, sleeplness etc is finding a huge importance in dealing with #CoronavirusOutbreak in #Kerala, is hugely significant and welcome. In India, it's largely ignored. @ndtv
Around 40,000 health officials, staff has been mobilised in #Kerala from the state level - all the way till Primary Health Centres - involving surveillence and contact tracing.

Of the 80 people who returned from China on Fri, at various airports in #Kerala , 73 showed no symptoms, were allowed to go to their homes. Are being tracked & monitored for their health updates.They've been advised self-isolation at home as precautionary measure. #CoronaVirus

#Thread: Thousands of families in MP fear submergence of their homes after the Centre has forced the filling up of the Sardar Sarovar Dam to its full capacity. The Centre was aware of families living in the submergence area. Some pictures to show the ground reality. 1/9
Since 2014, the Centre has claimed that all families in the submergence zone have been rehabilitated. However, a letter from the chief secretary of Madhya Pradesh to the Narmada Control Authority in May 2019 said that at least 6k families still live in the submergence area. 2/9
The Centre ignored this & approved the Gujarat govt’s request to fill the dam to test its capacity. As the dam started to fill up and flood villages, the MP govt set up camps to assess the no. of people awaiting rehabilitation while the local authorities evacuated the people. 3/9
