1. It is incorrect to cite the "progressive vs. moderate" totals in the Iowa Caucus to make the argument the Democratic Party is still a moderate party.

The electorate was ideologically farther to the left than we've ever seen, radical even when comparing to the middle.
2. Many Democratic caucus-goers listened to their heads, not their hearts, and voted for candidates the media told them was more electable.

That is clear from the voter analysis.
3. When 7 in 10 support single-payer, it's a radical electorate when compared to the country as a whole.

That's not a moderate party. Just shows that many are still practical, even if that practicality was a media-created illusion.
