Just catching up on the Kier Starmer webchat at Mumsnet.

Mumsnetters had several good questions on the sex and gender issue

And this one. After which MumsnetHQ said no more questions on this topic

There were a couple of related ones on freedom of speech

Kier answered a lot of other questions before getting round to this topic. Replying to Stealth Polar Bear he said:

Taking him up on the statement that there should be respectful dialogue, there were some follow up questions

But questions kept getting deleted. And there were no more answers.

So that was that. Respectful dialogue..... But not right here. Not right now.

Its a matter of rights, but one set of concerns should not be pitted against another.

It should not be a political football, but a can kicked down the road.
