Meanwhile, @ewarren’s plan envisions using budget reconciliation and EOs to expand FREE Medicare to everyone <18 and 50+—not 55 as in Sanders’s plan—as well as <200% the poverty line.
That’s 3/4 of ALL AMERICANS WITHIN HER FIRST 100 DAYS.

She would then commit to getting free M4A for the other 1/4 passed BY YEAR 3, after 3/4 of Americans (plus those who’ve bought in) have already had it for 3 years and loved it. It’s easier to expand reality once people know it’s not scary—and once you’ve killed the filibuster.

Sanders’s M4A plan as outlined means no real changes until his omnibus bill passes with GOP support due to public pressure—while ex-POTUS Trump attacks him nonstop. Then year one after it passes, folks 55 & OLDER get M4A; then 45+, 35+, then everyone. Young folk wait four years!
Warren’s M4A plan is EO reforms in her first 100 days & budget rec expansion of Medicare to 75% of Americans—plus buy in for the other 25%—YEAR ONE. Young folks get it IMMEDIATELY. She also will push to kill the filibuster to get her omnibus (& other plans) passed by year THREE.
By any standard, @ewarren’s M4A plan is more thorough, detailed and possible than Sanders’s. But it also covers MORE people FASTER. And it uses tools that have already been proven to work—EOs, budget rec—plus a reform Sanders refuses, killing the filibuster, to make it happen.
If you want M4A to actually happen, vote for the woman who’s thought it through and knows how to make things happen even in a broken system. She built a whole federal agency over the backs of the GOP!
