This is just a thread of photos I took when I was in Wuhan in October. It was one of my favorite cities that I visited in China (second only to Xi'an). 
You can hear my gasp as I survey the lights.
We were there on Halloween and for some reason that night there were a ton of wedding photoshoots. Not sure if that is just every night or specific to Halloween.
I am very purposefully including photos of people to show that this city is far more than the coronavirus.

We were the only ones in our group who climbed all the way to the top of the hill and got to see the gorgeous temple up there.

Men were socializing by the temple. They had brought their pet birds to let them hang out (in their cages) in nature.

I would like to do a photo exhibit of just Chinese people with their bikes. I loved them all.
I saw a delivery driver in NYC with plastic bags tied around his hands. I think this bike quilt would be very helpful here. It is both to keep warm and to protect your clothes.
A very charismatic little girl!
I loved China. I cried when I realized I was leaving soon. Wuhan was one of my favorite places and I would go back in a heartbeat once people are healthy again. It was beautiful, astonishing, vibrant, and I am very lucky to have had these experiences.
My mom keeps thinking about and worrying about this little girl.
