I would vote for Yang or Sanders if they end up as the Democratic nominee.

Serious Question: Why won't HALF of their voters do the same for the other candidates?
I find the difference between Warren's and Sander's fans to be interesting. Both groups support a very progressive candidate. But those who mostly support Warren are much more flexible for some reason.
Only 53% of Sanders's voters say they'd definitely be willing to support the eventual Democratic nominee if it's not Sanders.

Sanders is FAR left, so surely the rest wouldn't vote for Trump. Would they stay home? What gives?

Yang's are even MORE inflexible. Odd.

OK, here's what needs to happen: @RepJerryNadler needs to immediately start the process of subpoenaing Bill Barr and other DOJ officials to testify and provide documents.

The House uses their power of inherent contempt to jail anyone who refuses to appear or provide documents.
The House (@SpeakerPelosi ) has the power to jail violators for contempt. They either EXERCISE their power NOW or lose it forever.

Now ... GO!

This whole filing is just one more way Trump has used the DOJ to protect those who don't want to testify against him in Congress.
The message is, "Don't testify against Trump. Lie if you have to. We will protect you in the end."
Fortunately, Amy Berman Jackson is not a Trump toady like Barr is. She'll do what she thinks is right in the end.

In case you haven't had enough crazy today, a whistleblower just revealed that the DOJ gave more than $1 million in anti-trafficking grants to two strange groups.

Hookers for Jesus and the Lincoln Tubman Foundation.

They passed over several more reputable and highly recommended groups to give your tax money to

#1 Hookers for Jesus, which tries to rehabilitate prostitutes through a "Christian" safehouse with a tightly-controlled environment.
#2 Another half-million was awarded to this brand-new "foundation" - which has NO EXPERIENCE in thwarting human-trafficking - and which is being run out of it's director's parents' house.

#democratic primary: It's 12/1 and just over 2 months to the IA caucuses. So what the heck is going on in this primary that's being conducted in the middle of a constitutional crisis? Well, the bottom line is that young voters are steadier in their preferences than older voters.
Taking @surveyusa polling from Aug-Nov, we see that the 18-34 vote has barely moved for Warren (-1), Pete (+1), Biden (+2) and Harris (-1). For Bernie, there was a big drop of -10 from Aug to Sept, but has since stabilized at 35, highest of any candidate in that demo.
Among 35-49 voters, since Aug, Liz is +2, Pete (0), Bernie (-1), Joe (-5) and Harris (-4). Among 50-64 voters: Warren (+2), Pete (0), Bernie (-1), Biden (-4), Harris (-5). Among 65+: Warren (-13), Pete (+7), Bernie (+2), Joe (-4), Harris (-5).

There are 83 overlapping federal welfare programs, and all of them together make up the largest budget item in the US. This is all means-tested welfare that excludes Medicaid and Social Security, the total comes out to about 1.03 trillion. /2
For comparison, Social Security cost $725 billion, non-war defense cost $540 billion, and Medicare cost $480 billion. (All of these numbers are from a Senate Budget Committee Report in 2011) /3

Warren & Sanders come out hard for decriminalization of illegal immigration, in order to strip the government of tools to stop it.
Bullock actually speaks up for the idea that handing out healthcare & no penalties will draw more people to the border. This is a fringe position now in the Democratic party.
Warren emphasizes standing up for people who overstay student visas.

This awed tone of MSM coverage of #Sanders is so gendered.

Harris and Klobuchar are both daughters of single mothers who had to raise their kids alone after their husbands left the families.
Warren also grew up in a working class family in Oklahoma.

Money was a stress for these women's families as well. Klobuchar has spoken movingly of her family's estrangement from her father, an alcoholic.
But the coverage of these women not only hasn't reflected this awe of their families' struggles, but has been harshly critical.

No one has situated Klobuchar's perfectionism within the well-documented construct of being the child of an alcoholic fighting chaos.

Harris and Klobuchar both had to work harder than their male counterparts to get on their college & career paths, due to their backgrounds.
